Greetings all,
by my calculations I am most due for a re-election as Commander of Coalition forces.
We hope the assault on Jerusalem, and the negotiation and coordination thereof, will solidify our rightful position as a competent wartime leader.
However, if you would like to nominate another candidate, please do so. I personally would like to nominate:
Zim
For the coming coordinated assault on the Ghorids. However, if that is premature, I would continue to lead the war in the west and leave matters east in his capable hands.
Accomplishments since last election:
Massed 5 stacks of troops for Jerusalem assault
Helped reclaim Cilicia for Armenia
Reached peace settlement with Rome
Negotiated joint assault on Jerusalem with Rome (alliance)
Negotiated Caliph an-Nasir's inclusion into the assault
Coordinated with 3 other nations to get into position for the Syrian assault.
Still left to accomplish:
Fall of Jerusalem
Surrender of the Shah
Destruction of Ghur
Rebuilding of Armenia and Turkey
Distribution of War Prizes (Jerusalem)
Bringing all Coalition members back in the black
Commander Kaikosru of the Coalition forces.

Battle plans for Syrian assault:
Rome has attacked and crippled Jerusalem. Now it is our turn.
The Caliphate, The Georgians, and the Great Seljuks will lead the assault North with forts defending their positions, and Armenia and Turkey will fall in line behind them to reinforce.
Turkish and Armenian, and perhaps Caliphate spies will penetrate Jerusalem's defenses and push south into Aleppo, and hopefully smash his forces at Antioch, but if he still has massed spies there, we must push into Damascus and Homs, and Hama.
If his forces seperate from his spies or his walls he will be crushed. But WE MUST ACT AS ONE and WE MUST NOT ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE DESTROYED.
Rome has taken a great risk in leading the southern assault. We cannot leave them high and dry.
Georgia, we welcome your King's commitment to the mission. May he live free, or die well.
Seljuks, your troops are a wondrous addition to the Coalition, and further legitimizes our offensive. You will provide much needed forts as well, assuming you can spare building them for us.
The Caliph will probably be joining us, he's told me. He brings a massive stack and his very self to the battle. He should also have spies and fort making capabilities.
Rome will continue to fight in the South, possibly dividing Roman arms or causing more destruction. Either is good.
Turkey and Armenia will make up the bulk of the disposable force.... we intend to move in turn order to wear him down... Last to go is Armenia, who only has one stack, but Rome and Turkey are before him, and Turkey is just plain huge. If my spies can do ANYTHING to him, we will use your reinforcement stacks to help us win the battles with the fewest losses possible. It seems ok to risk your troops when Rome Turkey and Armenia deal the finishing blows that turn.
If we can keep everyone alive until the cataclysmic turn of doom, the sequential and successive strikes by our combined forces will be utterly devastating.
Otherwise, Baldwin may be able to systematically rout all our forces in a single turn. His armies are that powerful, so take no unnecessary risks.
The Rallying Point For All Coalition Forces Is The Province Of Malatya. Please Assemble there, on the southern border thereof, unless Baldwin for some ODD reason moves a force within range of us.
