Coalition members,
I must inform you that Armenia has single-handedly declared war on Jerusalem.
We did it to protect our kingdom from Jerusalem attacks by capturing a frontier fort and in doing so capture and bring to trial Raymond of Tripoli (Aka Jeremy Irons).
We have offered a ceasefire to the latins, one I am sure they will refuse.
I wanted to open this debate the better to organize our joint attacks on the Crusader Kingdom, should such thing be wished by the Alliance members.

Well I must say, seeing as this was an attack you yourself orchestrated, without prior discussion by the coalition, I see no reason for Oman to get involved with this formally (and formally is the only way Oman could get involved anyway) That sounds like criticism. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Its not, I wish you the best of luck, but Oman will stay out of this one unless the Coalition feels it formally needs to declare war as a whole.

Actually, honourable Imam of Oman, the attack on the genocidal King of Jerusalem was planned and orchestrated by all members of the coalition, other than yourself as you are to remain neutral until your state builds strength. I note with glee that you are becoming quite a strong power.
You may be requested to assist the Coalition in the future, so please be ready.
For now, Armenia is acting alone and in self-defense.

I don't remember planning or orchestrating any such thing. I have enough enemies. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Nice job taking the fort. I doubt anyone will be fooled by the reason given for it, but it's a good start to the war. Alliance's at war on all sides now, and losing ground on at least one. It will be interesting to see how we come out of it.

I just want to inform the coalition that Kaikosru supports your actions, no matter what I say in the council.
Zim, you weren't informed of the offensive against Jerusalem?

Never heard a thing that I can recall. I did figure after the ceasefire with Rome that a war with the Alliance's other big enemy was inevitable, but noone ever told me it would happen soon,

The west is a dark and chaotic land. I wish my allies in the Coalition victory and success in equal measures, but for the right or wrongness of the matter I cannot comment and will remain verbally neutral.

Georgia will send some troops in support of this righteous offensive. Though, because of distance and lacking military might I fear we won't be much help.

I cannot say I am appreciative of being left out of discussions completely. If Oman is to be a member of this coalition, I would like it to be trusted as a member of this coalition. Granted, I cannot currently prove my loyalty in combat, but I do not believe this coalition has any reason to distrust me.
So if we could share and discuss further plans regarding the Jerusalem invasion that would be much appreciated. I find myself being happier of backing something I know more about!

![](http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh137/askthepizzaguy2/33.jpg) Everyone participating in the assault on Jerusalem: The battle plan is to attack Aleppo first. Then we will have a wide open route of invasion. Please assemble in the province of Malatya and await the order to strike. If we do this, we do this together. Georgia, Seljuks: Please be ready to build forts for us, because the rest of the coalition is broke. Also, the Caliph and Rome are also pledged to join, as well as Georgia, Seljuks, Armenia, and Turkey. Overkill? Not with Jerusalem. Anything less would be suicide, I've seen his defenses and I know how powerful his troops are. Also, if one of our allies betrays us, I want backup. My movements are shown in red. I am moving to Malatya with my 5 stacks of troops. I've scattered one and hopefully some of those little SOB's will rebel against me so I can slay them en route for a MOH general. I am down to 2 family members, and my forces are beyond bloated. Anyone else have 5 stacks of troops and only like 6 provinces? Yah, didn't think so. ![](http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh137/askthepizzaguy2/plan.jpg) Everyone's movements are show in this map. Rome assaults by sea once the attack begins, and Georgia, Seljuks, Armenia, Turks, and Caliphate assault by the wide open northern border. Armenia, the Caliphate, and Turkey are already assembled, with the other two en route. Everyone clear on the plan? Protect yourself by standing next to your allied stacks, unless they are in forts, use spies if you have them, and don't advance alone. Georgia has volunteered to do the dangerous work of laying seige to provinces to goad Jerusalem into attacking. I already have 5 spies moving into Aleppo, but Antioch won't be easy. We will need forts to block him into Antioch which will allow us to invade the rest of Jerusalem. Assaulting Antioch is suicide, we need to goad his forces out. Otherwise, all of us would have to lay seige simultaneously for it to have a fraction of a chance of working.

If you don't mind my asking, how did you get Rome on board? Even without the history of conflict I'd be reluctant join in if I were him, as any territories he received would not be connected.

From what I hear, Armenia has already struck? Is there a change of plan?
Anyhow, King George is near Ani and leading Georgia's finest toward Jerusalem.

Zim:
We negotiated an alliance rather than the total destruction of both states. He wants to fight a war, and since the one with me was approaching mutual destruction (I would take his homelands, and he would take mine) I negotiated with him to sack Jerusalem.
He is also interested in other lands (not coalition lands), and for the destruction of our hated enemy, I'm granting them to Rome.
Flax:
Armenia assaulted without orders. May their deaths have meaning, but we wished they hadnt been destroyed. Those forces would have been useful against KoJ.

I'm impressed by your negotiation skills, getting the Romans in on the attack like that. It'll make things much easier on the CoF, at least the western members. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I have been an advocate from the very beginning for the power of peaceful negotiation over brutality.
For every soldier you destroy, that is another soldier that will never fight on your side. For every province you sack, that is another province that will be less useful to you in the long run. For every building you destroy, that's a building you must rebuild and you won't be able to use it in the meantime.
For every faction you eliminate, that's one less potential friend.
Join me, for I am the philosopher king, and my ideas are superior to slash-and-burn.
