I am also in agreement that the Shah's deal should pretty much be last resort, too many things could go wrong.

Coalition Members:
You are probably about to lose a Member. The Sultan of the Turks has been forced into a last-ditch offensive against the Romans, as they had the forces assembled to overpower our defenses between turns (their spy network is far more advanced)
Now I must push into Constantinople or beat their standing armies on the field, and I can't do that without more spies, which I have recruited.
I feel I am in the inferior position, and I have only 2 family members left. I have almost 4 stacks of troops, but if they can attack them while the Ai sits there and does nothing, they could obliterate my entire faction in two turns.
I just wanted to say, if I don't survive, it's been a pleasure. I did all that I could. I hope my legacy of the Coalition alliance will go on, and I hope that your forces eventually crush the Romans and the Latin instigators. It is my dying request. Sorry I wasn't much help, fellas. I have been humbled, and if I cannot defeat Rome in a few turns, I've done for. My debt is piling up and is due to be repaid. Then the grim reaper will come for my final debt repayment.
Good-bye, cruel world. Next time, I call Kypchaks!
I also decline the Shah's offer, given certain revelations about his character. I say... wipe him out.
If I can manage to get my family member to escape, perhaps Georgia or the Seljuks would lend me a small castle somewhere to live in peace. I'd love to continue to exist diplomatically, and possibly re-emerge if anyone cares to save me, like I did for Armenia.
Should this be my farewell address as the Supreme Allied Commander of the Coalition of Freedom, I urge you all to follow the principles of the coalition after I am gone. Defend one another... triumph over evil. I will be there in spirit. If Allah would give me strength, I can also prevail this day. May Rome blunder so that I can triumph! Sigh... wish I could have played longer.
Do I have the forces necessary to win? Yes. But can Rome, skillfully played, triumph over me by force? Probably. And so... if I fall, Armenia will be given my remaining land.
May the many blessings of Allah be granted to my friends and allies. Your assistance has been a blessing. Unfortunately, Rome became an empire for a reason; better troops and training and armour. Aid came too little, too late, and Rome struck too quickly.
If I die... I died in defense of Armenia. It was why I started this war in the middle of peace negotiations.

Contact my diplomat as soon as possible and I'll assign you a territory in Rajput lands. Next turn make it your capital and afterward accept the almost inevitable adoption offer; the new guy should pop up over there and you can then safely wage war via captain stacks as long as your lands last.
I think I have some cash coming in too, but with the absurd estimates there's no way to be sure. I'll pass along what I can.

we appreciate your offer, Ramses. Truly we do.
However, the Caliph has already made such an offer, and I'd prefer to be closer to my homelands, where my remaining forces can engage in guerilla style warfare until Anatolia is retaken. Then we shall live out our remaining years in peace and support of the Alliance.
Inshallah, I will survive the night. Peace, and farewell, my friends.

The Sultan of the Great Seljuks hereby announces that war with the Khwarezm Shah is imminent.
They have deliberately tried to play us and the Ghazni against each other, most likely to grab some piece of the pie in such a conflict.
Thanks to this alliance and the fact that I and Zim started cooperating, we could sniff out his plans and I will now strike at him hard and fast.
Zim is by no means obliged to aid me, neither will I demand anything of any alliance members. Hopefully no faction will take the Shah's side. The biggest risk I see is the Caliph interfering, but he is a friend of the CoF isn't he? I'll talk to him and see what he says.
If I get lucky with spies and such, he should be broken in the fist few turns of the war. If I don't, it might turn into a long-lasting conflict. Even with that risk, I feel that this is the time to strike, as he get's stronger and richer for every turn that passes.
Wish me luck !
PS: If all goes well this first turn of war, I'll send whatever troops I can to aid the Turks in their struggle. If anyone has money to spare, it would very much help. Both in fighting the Shah, and recruiting troops to defend ATPG and the CoF in Anatolia. I have two well-developed castles in my western lands, so I should be able to pump troops out fast with enough money.

May the Great Seljuks swiftly crush their Khwarezmid foe. I trust my allies' judgment in this matter, and although my role is a peacemaker, peace with treacherous nations who instigate wars is not possible. had I known the Khwarezm Shah was acting so dishonourably, I would never have asked for a bilateral alliance with him.
The Turks, and by extension, the Armenians, both support the Seljuks in their fight to liberate the steppe peoples from the Shah's evil rule. I would ask that the Ghazni continue to pressure the Ghorids, while the Rajputs increase in strength. Should we manage this well... the Shah will fall to Seljuk power, the Ghaznis and the Rajputs will triumph over the Ghorid aggressors, and the Turks and the Armenians may survive the night and prevail over Rome.
Then we MUST deal with the traitorous Latin aggressors. His aggression towards the Ayyubids, then the Armenians, then the Turks, and now the Caliph will not be tolerated.
It is the Coalition of Peace when our enemies are dead... but the Coalition of Freedom when our enemies remain.

Just wanted make it known to all members that Georgia will be joining the war against the ERE (as some of you already know) as soon as my turn comes up. It will be made official on the council thread once Lemongate has played his turn.
I suggest that we start a new thread to coordinate our efforts in Anatolia, if everyone involves agrees.

A new thread for Anatolia, or perhaps concerning all war-efforts is a good idea.
How did your attack, Flax ? Did you manage to take Trebizond ? Will you guys have the power to fight the ERE ? I'm a bit doubtful to how much I'll be able to contribute with, as the Shah has a considerable military and economy. I'll see what I can do though.
May Allah light our path.

I am sorry I am such a relatively useless member of this Alliance, given my location and military strength. Rest assured that this is also the cause behind my somewhat cautious outward diplomatic stance. At the moment, I do not want to alienate too many people. However, if there is any help I can give, just let me know.

Deguerra, your role is to be quiet as a mouse and build yourself an empire without setting off any alarms. I would appreciate it if you could build some spies to check on your enemies at some point. But focus on turning your nation into a profitable one with some territory.
Do not feel ashamed about your position. Just improve it... you will have a mighty nation someday, and don't you dare say otherwise. The Coalition will ensure that this happens if you do your part and grow.
